Lip pencils are a versatile and easy-to-use tool for defining and coloring your lips, even with lipsticks, for a killer lip combo!
How to use:
- Before applying lip liner, gently exfoliate your lips to remove any dry skin, ensuring a smooth surface. Apply lip balm immediately afterwards to keep lips soft and hydrated. Let it sit for a few minutes, then remove any excess with a tissue.
- Use the pencil to delicately outline your lips. For a more natural look, follow the natural line of your lips, while for a more dramatic effect, you can extend the line slightly.
- After defining the lip contour, you can fill in the inner lips with the lip liner for a more intense and long-lasting color. You can also use a lip brush to apply the product more evenly. For a less dramatic effect, blend the liner with your finger or a lip brush.
- For longer wear, apply a little translucent powder to your lips using a brush. This will help set the color and make it last longer. If you want a more luminous effect, you can apply a gloss over the liner for a touch of shine.
- Choose a liner that matches the lipstick or gloss you plan to use. You can also use it alone for a more natural look.
Other ways of use:
- If you want to create the perfect lip look, choose a matte liquid or stick lipstick, or if you prefer a more luminous effect, you can opt for a creamy or satin lipstick. After outlining your lips, apply the lipstick to the center of your lips and blend it outward with a lip brush or directly with the lipstick. If you're using a liquid lipstick, make sure it's applied evenly.
- For a more volumized and luminous effect, apply a little gloss to the center of your lips. You can also apply it over lipstick for a final touch of shine.
- If you want a long-lasting look, you can lightly dab your lips with translucent powder. This step is especially useful if you've used a creamy or glossy lipstick.
- Choose a liner and lipstick that complement each other, but they don't necessarily have to be the same color. A nude lipstick with a slightly darker liner can create a very elegant ombre effect.
- Play with shades to get the effect you want. You can try a darker liner with a lighter lipstick for an ombre effect.
